Justin Longo

Justin Longo is Senior Associate with Whitehall Policy Inc. and eBriefings.ca, leading our efforts to enhance government policy analysis, external stakeholder engagement and policy briefing processes using Web2.0 and semantic web modes. He has over eighteen years experience as a researcher, consultant and civil servant. More detail can be found in his formal resume.

Starting in September 2010, Justin is on temporary leave from Whitehall to complete his doctoral work as a phd candidate in the School of Public Administration at the University of Victoria. His academic interests centre on the knowledge / decision interface in public policy with a specific focus on human-system / ecosystem sustainability and mechanisms for citizen engagement. His dissertation looks at what happens in public policy settings when computers are deployed in new ways, specifically whether the adoption of new technologies transforms the policy process itself.
